I'm always interested in the various pronunciations people have for the same word, so thought we could have a chat about our tongues.
I pronounce Yorkshire as 'York-shur', but everyone else at my work pronounces it as 'York-shear'. Incidentally, I also pronounce salt as 'sawlt' - I sort of draw out the 'all' sound, but people tell me I'm wrong and should pronounce it as 'soult'.
