It's been a while since I last visited this site but I hope you don't mind me popping in and mentioning my new book?
I used to get a lot of laughs reading through this forum but through a self enforced ban on procrastination I weaned myself off the internet for a while and got my head down to write. And now I'm glad to say it has paid off and a book is now available on Amazon in paperback and ebook.
Tripping the Night Fantastic is a humourous 'Whodunit', but far removed from the traditional set up. There is a murder, there is a sleuth, and there is a solution, but I have taken the risk of delaying the murder until the middle.
Charlie Deavon is a writer who meets Amelia Heart in a pub (she's a fan of his) and soon she winds up dead. There are a number of suspects, all friends, and Charlie and they try to solve the case together.
In the tradition of Sherlock Holmes (but taken to the extreme) the three men, what with the stress of it all, turn to a new drug called Merlin. From then on they trip and hallucinate their way through to its conclusion.
It is available as an ebook here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tripping-Fantastic-Charlie-Deavon-ebook/dp/B0081SHPEW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355610469&sr=8-1
And in paperback here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tripping-Night-Fantastic-Andrew-Chapman/dp/1481210815/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1355610469&sr=8-2
Ok, that done, off I got to write another book. Wish me luck.
