It's because they are simple. I've had to change a few things around because more people were joining and others leaving. But the best thing about it was the fact that it was fun and not serious enough to knock you down if you didn't win. Don't take it seriously, I never intended or claimed it was a ladder to step you up to a career.
It also keeps your creative muscle working. Like a gentle stroll.
