I hate utility companies, as far as I was aware competition was meant to encourage cheaper prices, pigs might fly, they act as a cartel and keep prices high. In my area there is one privatised company supplying water, so where is the competition in that? where is the choice? either have water or don't? What did privatisation achieve apart from a fat profit for shareholders. It's all a load of bollocks
