Captain Butler

Just found this on cable. Remember it now I've started to watch it. A 1997 Pirate Sitcom with Craig Charles in the lead role.

I'm very surprised. It's a bit tacky, som cliche's but I have laughed out loud a number of times, and I've only watched 10 minutes so far. That compares pretty favourably with some of the cack these days.

Anyone else remember it?

Thanks Rosco, I'll look out for thatPirate

I don't remember it at all.

I've never heard of it, and I like cheeky Northern scamp Craig Charles.

I even watch bloody Corrie for him.

I watched Corrie for that young barmaid Lovey

Who's that is Nikki Sanderson still in it? I met her once. She threatened to punch my mates lights out or something, he is in reality a bit of a pap

I don't know her name, but recently shes been trying to get pregnant by a gay bloke, lol, you know, like ya do.

f**king soaps

I only watch Corrie sometimes, I can't stand soaps either, except Corrie, but I wouldn't miss it, expect the barmaid.

Anyway, as for this program, never heard of it? As for Craig Charles, I like Lister, but can't really imagine wanting to see him in anything else, because, from what I can see, Craig is Lister.

What Listers in Corrie? your taking the mick?

No really, he's the last man alive, stranded with only some old people to keep him company.

She's pretty.
I like him too (said gay bloke) and Sean Hughes has been in it recently as well. All manner of people pop up in Corrie.

If Jack buar was in Corrie I'd watch it.

"Dammit Les we've got nine hours before Deidre completely drys out and turns into a living skeleton. I need the schematics of Rita's shop downloaded to my PDA Now!"

'Hotpot petal?' Laughing out loud I love speaking northern. 'By eck you're a bit mardy today'

The original title of 'Red Dwarf on a boat' didn't sit well of course.

Written by the same fellas that did Mike Bassett.

I've seen it recently. Some of it's pretty dodgy, and some is really good.

Anyway, completely the wrong forum for this, so moving it.
