You're right, if a script's good no one's gonna poo themselves over this. But remember these guys get six billion manuscripts on their desk, these little things help make a good first impression. A friend of mine used to work for publishing and she said being a human being (I think) if the cover letter's crap the script goes to the bottom of the pile. Cruel but understandable. Reminds me of when a guy sent in a spec script for 'Cheers' called 'Chears'. Not a good sign is it?
