Very funny episode with some great lines. Maybe not quite a true classic, but miles better than last week's.

My favourite line of tonight was the Dobby Shag queue - 'First Mark, then me, then Dead Gerard..'
Not technically a sitcom, but still hilarious nonetheless.
That line got a good laugh out of me, as well.
I thought it was better than the previous episode, although re-watching the previous episode, I found I enjoyed it more than my initial viewing.
Quote: Raymond Terrific @ December 10 2012, 4:57 PM GMTIt's only been Mark, Gerard and now Jez fancying her, hasn't it? Although I guess that IS all the main characters, still not that many people.
Now that her ex has replaced the role Gerard played it feels a little like everyone who has ever met Dobby is infatuated with her.
Maybe in continuing with the use of Horrible Histories actors - Hamilton Cork will be the nex love rival
I wonder if 'Kenneth' will emerge from the drawer?... love the show.

That's what I know him from!

Ah! I totally hadn't noticed that.

He also plays 'Chris' in 'Spy.'

"AHH, ME PIGGING EYE, MAN!"
Yeah, it's still good but not great. Perhaps we expect too much but I agree the whole Jez-Dobby thing was uninspired.
This felt like a proper Peep Show episode, rather than a generic sitcom peppered with funny Peep Show-style lines.
My acid test of an episode (especially of a show I love), is would I feel comfortable showing it to someone who had never seen it before, whom I was trying to introduce the series to (maybe an American, or whatever).
In this case, despite getting a little bit bogged-down in the 'bunker', it's a resounding "yes".
As mentioned before, when Mark's world is falling apart, the internal dialogue always executed to perfection (brain tumour pitch, Gerard funeral speech, Snow Patrol game, jogging history walk, man massage etc.).
Mitchell is a comedic acting demi-God.

He was also Deano in Gavin and Stacey.

Jim Howick who played (Dead) Gerard is also a Horrible Histories regular and Sarah Hadland from That Mitchell and Webb Look, Miranda, Confetti (2006), Magicians (2007) and the series 2 episode of Peep Show with Jez's wedding also used to be a HH cast member.
Can't blame Mark for not knowing Hot Chip, who would want to?
I've only heard of them. Couldn't pick them out of a lineup.
My guess was "Red Hot Chilli Peppers".
