Clive Dunn has died
I haven't even finished my Dad's Army boxset yet. A few days ago I watched the bonusmaterial on disc 12, a portrait of Clive Dunn. 
Clive's done. RIP.
Sad - but what a great life. Brought smiles to millions. RIP.
Permission to rest in peace.

Says his in his obit that he was in Will Hay films. Probably the last to calim that as well.
I was very surprised as a young kid my dad teling me that Clive wasn't actually 80 and was relatively young man. The thought of him having another 40 years was beyond my imagination.
Heard the other week that David Jason was origianlly offered Coporal Jones.

Yeah, and while the other people in heaven play their harp Jonesy will fidget with his bayonet. Bless him.
