Knot what you want

A country Inn

We see four cavaliers drinking out of tankards.
Suddenly the door opens and four Roundheads walk in.

At sight of each other the men start fighting and smashing the inn to bits in the bargain

The landlord is on the floor behind the bar cowering as glass and stools are flying everywhere.
The landlord reaches a shelf and gets out a mobile phone.

We then see the handcuffed Roundheads and Cavaliers being put in to police vans.

LANDLORD
"It's the same every year; they should make these bloody reenactment socities illegal!"

Novel!

Thanks

While it is essential to keep the "We See" in mind, it is best that you not actually write that phrase into any submission script.

I forgot to say I like your sketch.

Thanks Bill as I had no idea of that rule, truth is I have yet to send a sketch anywhere, but if I do I will remember that.

It's not a rule as such. I'm not an expert or a producer, but I've seen a similar mention somewhere on the pages that I've read about script writing.

Written up as a proper script, using my Scriptwriter's Toolkit your sketch would possibly look something like this: http://www.datahighways.co.uk/toolkit/Roundheads.pdf

"Roundheads and Cavaliers"
