How NOT to write Sitcom one day course

December is a good time to get your writing finished and up to scratch as frankly f*** al happens in the industry from early Dec onwards - all the Christmas stuff is in place long before the season starts (including - oops - Jimmy Savile tributes) so early jan is often the best time to catch the eye of a producer or agent.
ON this course we will aim to get your work to a point where the pitch is sharp and the presentation excellent.

I already know how NOT to write a sitcom, I've mastered it pretty well over the years.
*puts feet up*
(1) Sit at the computer.
(2) Open Celtx.
(3) Decide to have a wank, because gf is at Morrisons.
(4) Piss away 40 minutes looking for a solid 5 minutes of good gentleman's material, while evading an avalanche of Live Jasmin pop-ups. Close Celtx, because Internet Explorer is running too slowly.
(5) Clean up.
(6) Watch a Terry Jones documentary about Barbarians on YouTube.
(7) Bed time.
I already know how not to write a sitcom. Can this course make me even shitter?
