Where do you keep all your jokes?
On notepads? a word doc? the back of a postcard?
And once you've kept them do you categorize them, rank them or just read them occasionally guffawing as you go.

Microsoft Word 2010

That's a lot of jokes to keep on a single Word Doc.
I only have one joke and I just used it up in Larks.
I always thought microsoft word went well with power point reespec'
I've recently started using Evernote, which allows me to catalogue every joke and give them "tags", which means that if I want to know if I've written a joke about, say, "hedgehogs", I type in "hedgehogs" and it'll list all the jokes which feature the word "hedgehogs" or have been tagged with it.
I believe other, similar, systems are available.
I used to just type straight into Twitter and not keep them but now I write them on on a notepad (polka dots if anyones interested) Ones for submission go in a word doc.
Many many notebooks (none polka dot though ). I like rummaging through them when I'm stuck for inspiration and coming across something I jotted down ages ago. Also find it quite helpful in assessing if something's funny cos if you see something all the time (like adding to a word document) you don't have the element of surprise. Although I do have quite a good memory for subjects I've written on so can find stuff easily, maybe not recommended for people who'll just never see what they once wrote ever again.
I use notebook too. A brief synopsis of the joke and a rating out of 10.
Only a few have ever been rated 10 though.
Tell the best 10% on stage. Regret it. Tell the best 1%.
Most of mine are on Quark Xpress documents on DVDs and cds from the last 15 years writing greetings cards.
A very loose estimate would be there'll be about 20-25 thousand gags, poems, captions, etc all spread over about 50 discs. Some of which are scratched to Hell and won't work anymore.
And no, I don't grade them. The ones I don't sell (Which is most of them) get forgotten about, or very occasionally re-written if I think it deserves it.
EDIT:
Just did a better mental calculation and that figure's wrong. It's probably closer to 30 thousand jokes. My God. What have I done with my life?

That sounds really good, but must have taken you aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages... ??
Assuming you done all the old ones.
In Frank Skinners first book he says something along the lines of hand-writing all his stand-up routines, and computer for scripts etc.
