R.y.o

We see a man at the bottom of his garden feeding chickens in a coop

We see another man secretly watching him through a fence.

As the man finishes feeding the chickens his house phones rings so he walks off to answer it.

The man on the other side of the fence closes his mobile phone and laughs to himself as he opens a secret door in the fence and steals the eggs from the coop.

The man returns from the house shaking his head and then sees that the eggs have been stolen.

He is livid.

A woman then walks into the garden from the back gate

MAN
"The Foxes have had the eggs again love"

The woman takes a mobile phone out of her pocket as she speaks.

WOMAN
"I'm calling the police, I've had enough!"

MAN
"What good will that do love? The police are useless!"

WOMAN
"We'll see about that!"

We see the woman and man standing at next doors gate.
We see a policeman knocking on a front door it is answered by the man who stole the eggs.

POLICEMAN
"Mr Fox I'd like a word with you!"

MAN
"The Foxes have had the eggs again love"

Even with the 'capital F' clue I never guessed the punch, d'oh :)

Nice little sketch Teddy.

Thank you.

Nice simple little joke, I like it. I think it would be preferable if we don't see Mr Fox earlier on, otherwise it's predictable.

Perhaps, to get the gag across that it's a neighbour called Fox at the last possible minute, you could have the police officer visiting the protagonist, and looking at the empty hen house.

MAN: They're gone again. I think the Foxes are responsible.

OFFICER: Oh, yes, bound to be the work of the Foxes.

MAN: Is there anything you can do?

OFFICER; [Calling over the garden fence] Mr and Mrs Fox? Can I have a word, please?

Thank you.

nice punchline :D

Thank you.

I like this one as well.
I was thinking along the same lines as Gappy with regards tp the reveal.

Nicely done. I liked it.

Thanks for that, it is slightly obvious but it's whimsical and I do love whimsical.
