I wonder what would happen if one of the more main voice actors died. Dan Castellaneta, Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer...etc. Would they just get someone else to come in an imitate the voice? Or just kill off the characters.

They did it with the voice actor of Maude Flanders after a pay dispute. They killed her off with a shirt cannon I believe.

true true. I think it would end the show if some of the main actors died. The show (in my opinion) should end anyways. While this past season was slightly funnier than the last few terrible seasons I think the show has run its course.
The show has definitely ran it's course.. it's still entertaining but I think they should do something else.. Futurama was quite good, i'm sure they can come up with something! And 20 is a nice round number.. I guess we wait and see!
I am happy to say I have never been able to stomach an entire episode of the Simpsons. Too cutesy-pie for my tastes.

I've not seen a new episode of The Simpsons for a while though- curse Sky for taking them away from me! Channel 4 will catch up soon enough...
