How old is too old to live at home? Page 2

If you had the misfortune to be born in London and want to own a house, then it's a bit different. But most of England isn't London, so many have a very different experience. I own two houses outside of London, put together they probably cost less than most single houses in London. So if you live anywhere other than London, which as I say, isn't actually the whole of England, then you won't need to hang around with your Mum until you're 43 so you can save up.

Wait, what?! And I've been buying rounds like a chump?

Yeh yeh I happy to know you just bought a childs cemetry to house all your ventriloquist dummies.

I left home at 22 when I got married. My son is nearly 21 and is showing no signs of going F**king* anywhere.

*read what you will into this!

Well that's my mind blown, as I saw a photo of you somewhere and thought you were a teenager.

Having said that, Tintin is about 15 years and has his own flat in the centre of Brussels.

Saville was paying the rent on that gaff and Snowy was coining it in as a Colombian drug mule.
The flat was also used to abuse the Thompson Twins and featured on hit Belgian TV comedy ' At home with the Bjurts'

Framed on your bedside table?

my friends who lived at home got pissed off when I couldn't go to the movies or out to dinner beacause I had to pay rent or electricity.

Some people are just selfish arseholes. I don't think it has anything necessarily to do with where they may live, their independence or responsibilities.

The time to move out is 21 exactly, regardless of if you have the means to buy your own house or not (probably wont). Your mum might like (or say she likes) the idea of having you around, but in my book 21 is the time to piss off out of your parents' gaff.

They can then rent your old backroom out to another 21 year old - whilst you, if you can't afford your own place, rent a room - probably off the parents of the lad who is in your old wank den now.

You could always rent your exisitng room at 'home' off your parents but in reality that's probably a non-starter as the situation would be abused by you.

I left at 18 - my pic probably gives some indication why I was invited to leave.

So yes - f**k off at 21 - end of chat as far as Im concerned.

Yea. Although some of the same people eventually moved out and they seemed to understand pretty quick after that.
