British Comedy Guide

In search of more immersive comedy shows

Hi all,

I seem to have run out of things to watch:(

I usually watch programmes such as:

The Mighty Boosh
Flight of the Conchords
Red Dwarf
This is Jinsy
Twitch City
15 Storeys high
IDEAL
Bottom
The Young Ones
Peep Show
Snuff Box

etc

Are there any others that I may have missed, preferably with 1 or more series?

Much appreciated

Just to get you started...

Louie
Parks & Rec
Archer
Arrested Development
Mr Show
Venture Brothers
Eastbound & Down
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Have at it!

The Thick of It (3 series on Netflix if you have it).

You might like Spaced.

Sienfeld
Bilko
Rising Damp
Bakersfield PD
King Of Queens
Yes Minister
Yes Prime Minister

Black Books?

I can only second the suggestion of 'Arrested development' a true classic.

otherwise,

Malcolm in the Middle
Father Ted

Mr Ed.

Cheers guys will have a looky:) thanks for the replies:)

Fun At The Funeral Parlour. Very funny sitcom that doesn't seem to get much recognition.

All these shows are on my imaginary "to watch" list. Which ones should I bother with?

Threesome
Whites
Nighty Night
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
The Worst Week Of My Life
Lead Balloon
Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive
Getting On
Free Agents
Saxondale
Him & Her
Rev

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace!!!

Threesome is great. Whites was pretty good but cancelled.

Nighty Night is highly thought of by many, but only really for its first series. Very dark.

The Worst Week Of My Life is very funny embarrassment farce.

Lead Balloon's pretty well thought of too.

Rev is great, and very underplayed for much of the time.
