Kathy Burke really has wonderful comic delivery.

I loved her!

Decent episode. Still not as good as it was with Lamarr.

In addition to enjoying episode 1, I also enjoyed episode 2.
It is available until Sunday 14th

What has the the lady who hosted the 1st one been in? I know her voice from somewhere.

Kathy Burke... English actress, comedienne, playwright and theatre director. She is best known for her portrayals of Perry in the Harry Enfield film Kevin and Perry Go Large, and of Linda La Hughes in the British sitcom Gimme Gimme Gimme (the latter of which she co-wrote and developed with Jonathan Harvey). She is also known for her regular appearances on French and Saunders, Absolutely Fabulous and Harry Enfield and Chums

Gimme Gimme Gimme is almost certainly where you know her from.

That's it.

'Not if it's dead' and 'Is that nice?' Laughing out loud

I am so thoroughly rubbish at getting the intros. Think I've got one in the last 16 years.

What was with the pixellation?!

Episode 3 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01nclbn/Never_Mind_the_Buzzcocks_Series_26_Episode_3/

I've been struggling with this series for some reason. Normally I enjoy it, but some episodes I've been sat there wondering why I'm watching it. Has it changed or is it just me getting grumpier?

The problem with Buzzcocks for me is - a) I can no longer guess the songs in the Intros round because I'm getting old and b) I feel like it's perpetually Groundhog Day, that each show bleeds into the next and nothing stands out.

For a fun, disposable quiz show, that shouldn't be a concern, but everyone appears like they're going through the motions and laughing too much at their own comedy 'genius'. Phill Jupitus shouts at somebody, Noel say he's an angry cumquat, host reads out crap joke, unemployed actors are made fun of in identity parade and it just goes on and on, week in, week out.

It's either trying too hard or not trying hard enough. I still watch it, still enjoy it but as a fresh, anarchic, hilarious panel show, it's resting far too much on its laurels.

Though I did notice something interesting this week - Russell Kane + suit = Nick Grimshaw (whoever the hell he is).

They HAVE to get a permanent host next series, cos it ain't working any more, and even the guests seem to be laughing for the sake of it. Mind you, Lee Mack's on next week, which will be great. He should take over as host as he already knows Noel well cos they lived together, knows his music, and is just so bloody funny :)

Ooh, didn't know he was doing it! He would be great as a permanent host. Doubt he knows anything about music, but it's clearly not about that anymore!

There used to be a Australian "version" of this. The first and last rounds were always the same game but the ones in the middle were rotated slightly. It made it feel a bit different each week.
