Too be honest ever since I watched Peanuts Charlie has struck me as a manic depressive with the stench of death about him.

He also talked to his dog like Charlie Berkowitz, same first name as well.

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

I think it's a great if brave idea. I wonder if this a one-off gag or if it has the potential for a series of similar sketches/clips...with I don't know...the next episode featuring Oliver Hardy commiting suicide, Donald Duck getting a heart attack/stroke or something like that.

Most of our beloved comedy heroes are people frustrated with life. It's interesting to explore the degree of desperation within these characters...to see them doing what is beyond what is considered to be funny by most of the audience.

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Great Little sketch my little whippet.

Loved it.
I always hated that smug 'whimsical' humour in Charlie Brown. You know, 'Hi Charlie Brown... How are you?... Not bad... Well that's life isn't it.'

Similar could be said about Mickey Mouse. Can't stand this immaculate, arrogant little smart-arse.
