"A Faces reunion or American Songbook Vol.27? hmmm...."

He must see sense mustn't he? I couldn't imagine Hucknall doing it.

I couldn't imagine Hucknall doing it.

Hucknall was a punk fan as a teenager...but no, no no no.
Honestly, I can't see Rod The Mod doing it either these days. He doesn't seem to be interested anyway.

Often wondered what this was called, but never bothered to find out and there it was today on our local radio Rock and Roll Sunday - and I always thought it was British; thinking it was and sounding like to me the soundtrack from one of those early 60s "Pop Films" that never quite worked.

Well, I know now! :D

Ya'll might like this. We do a radio show highlighting a ton of West Coast (USA) underground pop and rock music. Ever heard of Tony Molina? It's like Weezer, but with good solos. Hear him and a bunch of other bands that are sure to be your new favourite... and hear us blab about bullshit with some comedians.

PAID PROGRAMMING #4 w/ Mark Shrayber (Jezebel, Cosmo) and Vidur Singhal (Comedian). Mark tells us about an interview with the biggest c**t he's encountered in his career, Grumpy Cat. Vidur talks to us about horror movies and dating in India vs. the United States http://soundcloud.com/paid-programming/paidprogramming-mark-vid

This box set is making me horny, I think I'm going to buy it.

Conceptually very similar to the Allman Brothers box set (The 1971 Fillmore East Recordings) I bought earlier this year.

Guitar heaven!

I got the box set of his 4 live albums a few years ago. Is this something different?

It's a heavily expanded version of his classic Irish Tour album...some sort of "the complete concerts".
I don't know the box you're talking of though.

Let's go to work.

I bought four Manfred Mann's Earth Band CDs with the token I got for Christmas:

The debut album, Glorified Magnified, Messin' and Nightingales & Bombers.

Was that as a box set? I've been wanting to get some of their stuff but not at full price.

No, not a box set. I bought them for 12 Swiss francs (about 8 £) each.
Remastered in 2013.

R.I.P. De-bo-rah (it never suited yah!)

Just watching a Carpenters concert. Karen had such a fantastic voice. Why do people like that have such insecurities.

She just sang "Superstar" which I had previously owned on Joe Cocker's "Mad Dogs & Englishmen" sung by Rita Coolidge and in fact is a song about a Groupie which is a bit unwholesome for someone like the Carpenters so they changed the line "I can hardly wait to sleep with you again" to "I can hardly wait to be with you again."

Budgie on Metal at the BBC on BBC4.

Oh, I would have loved to see that.
I watched the documentary about Meat Loaf earlier. Some nice facts...but Meat Loaf himself seemed a bit odd, did he have a stroke or something?
