Not sure I'd ever sell it though.

Don't. That would be criminal.
Criminal is also the fact that I own only the first New York dolls CD. Don't know if the second is available on CD (in a remastered edition).

The only NYD CD I've got is Live in Paris 1974 which I intend listening to after Echoes of Pink Floyd.

Just put a Love reference in Count to a million thread.

NB Mine is not in anything like as good nick

Any idea who that belonged to?

Someone who never played it by the look of things!

Just listened to the live New York Dolls CD. Quite shambolic as you'd expect. Probably you had to be there.

Listening to a Sigue Sigue Sputnik compilation now.

That's the one. I think it needs to be played really loud as all the tracks sound the same. I'm too old for that though.

Really excellent documentary on Otis last Friday on the Beeb. The Norway gig of the Stax revue from 1967 that they screened after was a nice companion piece.

So great to hear Otis' voice again. I used to play the Best Of album all the time. Perfect late night listening over a bevy, or two.

Correct.

Correct.

What's my score?

Got a few CDs this week. Gogol Bordello - fantastic gypsy punk feel.

Also got a Cockney Rebel anthology, plus a Canned Heat best of and a Buffy Saint Marie compilation.

The one I'm most looking forward to listening too though is a Les Paul 3 cd set. All this lot cost me £21.

Bought this a few months ago:

It has the first two albums and some BBC recordings on it.

It's amazing...I don't know why it took me so long.

I'm not sure if I am that impressed. Seemed a good package - £8 - and just played the first one.

Any Dandy Warhols fans out there?

I've not heard any of their stuff since 2003's "Welcome to the Monkey House", and they've put out another four albums since then. Their profile over here seems to have really faded in the last few years since that "Dig!" documentary in 2004 that was really good.

Any recommendations for their output since 2003?
