(I did see Tommy opening Quexpo in Birchington-on-Sea in 1972 but he wasn't well and consequently he was in a bad mood - he was a genius and I still like the fact that I saw him in real life - later that day I had my legs astride a camel at Dumpton Park and although I was young, I felt uneasy about it because it was so obvious it hadn't been well treated):

He was in a dark suit without his fez and grumpily didn't tell any jokes so I'm kind of jealous of people who saw him when he was proper Tommy Cooper.

Not only that but it was the day when I believe I developed an unfortunate sexual fetish for camels. It would be ok but they are very difficult to hump.

Not that I've got anything against them - in fact Georgia was quite good but why do they have to jump on the bandwagon. Basically it's sex discrimination.
