:O

I hope it's nothing serious.

I thought he'd already died.

I thought he'd already died.

When the state of Texas goes into mourning you'll know that he's died.

He's playing at the rodeo here in a few nights. I won't be attending, but I've seen him several times over the last few years.

Bargains:

What next for the De Agostini partworks rip-off?

Why - the Beatles albums on 180g vinyl!

Bought Bowie's EP 'No Plan' today. Good addition to the 'Blackstar" album. I'm glad these songs are now available in this form, that means I don't have to buy the musical soundtrack.

Is it officially available yet? I'm not sure which is the best format. I'm not one of those completists (anymore!).

If you already have 'Blackstar' then this is the best way to get the three new songs imo, because I'm not a musical enthusiast, so the 'Lazarus - original cast recordings' (which has the same three songs as a bonus) is no option for me.
If you DON'T have 'Blackstar' yet then I'd advise you to be a bit patient, they're most probably going to release a "Blackstar special edition" with the EP on disc two in the near furure.

I've got Black Star on vinyl. As you say it's only really worth getting the Bowie recordings. Then if I decide I want Lazarus I'm sure there will be a recording of that too.

Have you got the vinyl or CD version?

Is this a real thing or a down load?

I bought it in my nearest record store. It's definitely a "thing", not just bits and bytes.

I have only CDs...stopped buying vinyl in the late 80s.

I see the vinyl won't be released until April.

I've got a spare ticket for Anderson, Rabin, Wakeman in Brighton on 15th March (The Ides).

Does anyone want it?

RIP Chuck Berry. :(

Most definitely. Even though like most old rockers he was a bit of a paedo he really was one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century.
