Just seen that Devon Allman is returning to my regular music club in May. I saw him a while back and his band was fantastic. Go and see them if you can.

Another of the greats has passed.

Yes, seen this on Facebook. I'm a big Allman Bros. fan and was hoping for them to reunite with Dickey Betts and tour as ABB again in the near future. Bang goes this dream.
RIP Butch. :(

For us baby boomers, and hopefully others I fear the worse when I hear that Brian Matthew has at the age of 88 had to give up presenting Sounds of the 60s, which he has done for the past 26 years due to ongoing health problems.

Oh dear, wonderful voice, great & original DJ which made him too one of the sounds of the 60s.

I wish you well Brian and hope you recover to enjoy a deserved retirement.

'Starless' by KC is still one of the most beautiful and eerie songs I've ever heard.

Enjoy the D.Allman concert!

And now apparently Deke Leonard.

A name I know well but never became familiar with his or Man's stuff.

RIP.

You know, when I re-read that earlier I thought "Chappers blah de blah" but decided to leave it as it was, like a worm on a hook - you are so predictable. ;) Laughing out loud

Like it a lot! Thanks for posting...didn't know this one.

...yes, and her "belt" is sexy! Yeeeeeha! Her top reminds me of Del Boy's swimming trunks...

(ewww, I hate my brain for this!)

My neighbor and I have been listening to episodes of Steve Jones' "Jonesy's Jukebox" radio show while enjoying a few beers and he's really digging it. I just got home and found a copy of Steve's new autobiography on my kitchen counter. I'm gonna devour it.
