New Bowie - just a snippet though.

Thanks!
I hope he'll follow this more experimental path on his next album. Don't get me wrong, I liked all of the albums he has released since Outside. But I'd wish he'd become musically a bit more courageous again. The new song on his Nothing Has Changed compilation already pointed in this direction.
Tis a Pity She Was a Whore - David Bowie
I was listening to Radio 2 early this morning.
This knob of a presenter said "when you think of Knebworth you obviously think of Robbie Williams. "
You what? He's the last person I'd think of.
You'd think by now that Jamie Lawson would expect the unexpected.
Well Gordon. I'm sure you can advise me. I picked up a vinyl copy of Live Jam by John and Yoko plus guests including Zappa. I tried looking it up but only using this poxy phone. I'll look it up properly when I get home. Any idea how rare or official it is?

Never heard of this but it sounds like it's a bonus disc of the album Some Time In New York.
That's what's Wikipedia says:
"The original double album contained the live album Live Jam containing the Plastic Ono Supergroup's 15 December 1969 live performance of "Cold Turkey" and "Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow)"[nb 2] at the Lyceum Ballroom in London,[4] from a UNICEF charity show,[5] billed as the "Peace for Christmas Concert".[6] In addition to Lennon and Ono, as part of the super group among others was former-Beatle George Harrison,[5] The Who's drummer Keith Moon, Delaney & Bonnie,[3] Billy Preston and Legs Larry Smith.[6] Harrison, who before the performance had been touring with Delaney & Bonnie, was excited by Lennon's proposal over a phone call when asked if he wanted to play with him.[7] The ballroom had its interior cover by posters declaring "WAR IS OVER, if you want it, love John and Yoko.[8] For "Cold Turkey", Ono had sat inside a white bag which was located near Lennon's feet, while for "Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow)", Ono jumped out of the bag, facing the crowd, and proceeded to scream at them.[8] As the latter song got towards the end of its performance, Ono broke down crying.[8] An early mix of the two tracks was arranged by the Abbey Road Studios engineers on 26 November 1970, and was sent to Lennon and Ono.[2] The album also featured a recording of Lennon and Ono performing with Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention at the Fillmore East on 6 June 1971, which they performed with after the persistence of Andy Warhol.[2] The performance was documented after Ono had arranged for someone to film it.[2] Klaus Voormann overdubbed his bass at a later date.[2]"
So, it's an official album...but probably hard to find these days.
Edit: The Live Jam songs appear on the 2005 CD release of Some Time In New York.
That is it but being part of a double originally I only have the inner sleeve which uses the Mothers live at the Fillmore East design with crossings out and further details in red.
Cost me £1.99.

Found this clip by accident...I have never seen it before. I put it in this thread because it has *cough cough* Nigel *cough* Gallagher in it:
I like the One Show theme tune:
PiL on Jools.
