Mugshit

We see a senior police officer at his desk holding up an almost childlike picture of a suspect, his tone is angry.

CHIEF SUPER
"You did this?"

We then see a police constable in uniform however he has a pencil thin moustache and is wearing a beret on the side of his head.

CONSTABLE
"Oui!"

CHIEF SUPER
"Well its f**king shit, it looks like the work of a f**king two year old! Who the hell trained you at Hendon?"

CONSTABLE
Outrageous French Accent
"I neveeer trained I simply started by drawing around ze dead bodies last week then voila! I am promoted to police artist this morning!"

Great idea and probably a winner visually. :D

I think the idea is good.
Maybe start with.
Is this a fair represention of the suspect (or whatever they might say)
Artist reveals chalk outline drawing.
Then the Punchline
He's just been transferred from another dept madame. or whatever

This gag is ancient: I remember a Salvador Dali lookalike doing exactly the same gag in the 60s/70s. Stanley Baxter, maybe? Martin Sharvell-Martin in a Dave Allen skit?

EDIT: someone's just told me it was Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In.

??

Just in case...
There is a difference between Plagiarism & mining something that has been done before.
Otherwise I've only got two jokes left.
And one of those I nicked.

Miss for me this one Teddy.

Pretty much everything is a bit reminiscent of something else.

I doubt that there has been a sketch just like this one, what with this one not really working.

I think Sunshine sorted it into the joke it should have been, nice eye.

I remember the erotic mugshot artist from Naked Gun, and Frank requested the previous one returns ("...who never dates, and lives with his mom", or whatever the line was).
