Advice needed

Hi.

Hope this is in the right place first of all.

I plan to enter the sitcom competition that Shortlist are currently running and I've written a few scenes which I'm happy with. The competition rules state that all entrants should submit between 3-10 pages of script and the three scenes I've written are of that length. My question is, do you think I should write one continuous scene from the beginning of episode one, or should I send in the three separate scenes I've written, as these put across the general gist of the show and introduce the characters.

I apologise if that's rambling, but I know there's a lot of experience on this site and if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

I would make them continuous from the beginning.

Was hoping you wouldn't say that. ;o)

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

Pick anything from critique and read a few random bits and pieces in a non linear way - and see how the first approach is not likely to endear you to readers. It's a drag I know, but they want to see the Painting with the colours in not the outline sketches. :)
