Chorion got into financial trouble and sold the Blyton catalogue rights to Hodder & Stoughton (now pronounced Hachette UK) - although Noddy had earlier been sold to US-based Classic Media (which also owns Basil Brush and Postman Pat), which was recently bought by DreamWorks. Perhaps we can look forward to a Noddy Meets Basil Brush movie (sans Golliwogs and gypsies).

No definitely 'ette'. Think they were a French publishing company in the 60's - somewhere I have a massive tome of French history (in French) published by them.

Probably right lol, there is no accent on it after all.
