Bored Parrot

INT. LIVING ROOM.

A PARROT SITS IN A CAGE LOOKING BORED.

SUBTITLE WRITTEN ON SCREEN: ‘POSSIBLY THE MOST BORED PARROT IN THE WORLD.'

A MIME WALKS IN AND SITS ON SOFA AND LOOKS AT PARROT.

Oh very clever

you could lose the caption and just have the parrot look depressed

but top stuff

Thank you

Then the mime could pull out a shotgun and challenge the parrot to a game of chess.

Sorry. Wrong thread

After 2 days, I finally get it... My fault, not yours...

I would skip the writing too, but you'd have to exaggerate the parrot's boredom visually.

Penny has finally dropped. I get it now.

It works in two ways as far as I can make out - bored as in 'eyes boring' and 'bored', am I over analysing?? hee hee, but this is very good either way.

Timbo, I thought you were smart. When did it all go wrong? :P

Mime pokes finger through one of the holes bored in the parrot's chest.

I didn't, until I clocked that the mime was (presumably) the owner of the parrot.

Aaaah, bit too clever for me. :D

I like it, didn't get it at first but its good.

Yep, no words. Just have the parrot sigh or something. Good sketch.
