And booo... they cancelled 'Ben & Kate'. Stopped watching the Mindy one.

Any particular reason?

For the Mindy one? I think I only watched the first three or four, and after initially showing some spark, it just failed to hold onto me. Seemed a bit all over the place, but not in a good way, and had poorly developed and explored storylines. Maybe it's found itself better since; though not according to the reviews I've read. No standout comic characters, either.

But in America they literally just stop showing any more episodes?

It's so harsh! (If that's true. I think it is sometimes.)
Such a waste of money and time and effort.

Watched the first ep of new series 'Nathan For You', and it was really, really funny stuff. The main guy is wonderfully low key. http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/nathan-for-you

Any news on OFAH? Surely they must've filmed this by now. Haven't heard a sausage.

I think they put a pilot together, but it wasn't picked up.

Good recommendation, it's a great show.

Another tip is 'Kroll Show'; a sketch show from comedian Nick Kroll. I've seen the first few and it's pretty funny stuff.

Also, 'Maron' is a new show starting soon; a sitcom from stand up and podcast big cheese Marc Maron:

Who knows if either will even make it to episode six, but of the new sitcoms in America, I've been enjoying 'The Mindy Project' (By and staring Mindy Kaling from The Office)

Just watched the first episode of this. Did it make it to a second season? I rather enjoyed it.

There will be a second season, yes. I too rather enjoyed episode one when I first watched it, though then lost interest after a few more.

Amazon has released a bunch of comedy pilots, including a show from The Onion and a series based on the movie 'Zombieland':

PICKED UP:

Community, Modern Family, Parks & Rec, The Middle

CANCELLED:

Happy Endings is dropped after three seasons. BOOOO.
The New Normal, Go On (Matthew Perry show), Up All Night.

NEW:
The Michael J Fox Show. Brooklyn Nine-Nine (Andy Samberg, created by Parks & Rec creator Micke Shur), Sean Saves The World (From the creator of Better Off Ted)

Michael J Fox was great in Curb'. He was good in Spin City too but I think the supporting cast stood out more. Oh, and he was great as the OCD inflicted doctor in Scrubs. Basically, I'll check The Michael J Fox Show out.
