I never did get a picture in the Hartbeat gallery. That and not getting to meet Spider-Man (thanks a bunch, Jimmy Saville!) are the two biggest low points of my childhood.

I sent in a, frankly, brilliant picture of a caterpillar. He never showed it.
He probably just violated it.
I should stop this he was a war hero in the special forces.
I decided afterwards it was because it was a character from a cartoon (Willo The Wisp maybe?) and they weren't allowed to show it due to copyright.
YES, THAT IS WHY.
Shut up.
I sent him a painting of Picasso's Guernica, but with all the faces drawn to look like Andi Peters.
I would rather like one of them for my living room.

I'm sorry, Tony never returned it. As an apology please accept this photograph of Mr Peters looking totally ripped...
Lol. Always quite scary.
Cheers, Marc, glad you liked it.
I certainly did!
Brilliant
I liked this, but a bit confused: did you edit the cock and balls picture in or did he actually draw that?

Thanks, guys. I did a bit of monkey work on it to make it look like a cock and balls. Surprisingly little monkey work, mind you.
I found the original.
I had actually thought it was your hands with the voice recording, doing the prints in time with his stamping sounds, and somehow adding the upside-down cock print to the distant view at 22-26 seconds.
Thought it must have taken weeks and weeks of work.
In fact, the real thing started to look a hell of a lot like a cock as it is, before he eventually uses a marker/cork to make a face (which actually looks quite crap tbh, and I love Tony Hart). You can see the big black splodge mouth at 40 seconds.
This works a charm though, as he sounds even more camp than usual at the end.
