How on earth do you get to write this good???!!!

I was bored at work the other day and suddenly remembered what was one of my all time fave comedy dialogues. It comes from the first ghostbusters film and 20 years on I am still howling with laughter at it!

RAY:
Everything was fine with our system until the power grid was shut off by dickless here.

PECK:
They caused an explosion!

MAYOR:
Is this true?

PETER:
Yes, it's true. This man has no dick.

PECK lunges at PETER. Police try to break up fight.

Has anyone managed to confirm just how much Bill Murray ad-libbed?

Wiki says it was rumoured he never even saw a script, which seems unlikely, but throughout the film it seems like every one of his lines are thought up there and then.

'Back off man, I'm a scientist!'

That film is fecking hilarious. I always forget how funny it is.

Bill Murray..The man with more charisma than is healthy..... And I'm supposed to be a straight guy with 4 young kids !

both ghostbusters are legendary. i like the sigorney wever line you're not like a scientist more like a talk show host she changed that line from something else i cant remember what though. i love the energy made in these films as well. infact i might have a ghostbusters showing. it's the only film where i want a third but with 80's graphics and the same car would be great.

I remember going to see the second one in the cinema when I was seven or something. My Dad fell asleep in his seat.

I thought ghostbusteers was crap when I was a teenager but I attribute that entirely to bein a complete tasteless wanker. Its a fantastic film the actors just ooze the character Peter Vankeman is my role model in life he's a legend Dan and Bill and great actors.
