Overactive Solutions

Some tasters for the latest sketch show pilot are available here at the Overactive Solutions website. The show features Edinburgh 2011 nominated Nick Helm as well as lauded sketch troupe Toby, plus Isabel Fay, who made a big splash last week with her 'Thank You Hater!' video. Shrinking from that white hot glow of talent you'll also find myself, as well as the BCG's own Matt "please call me Matthew" Stott, and Stuart "Chopz" Laws.

Be sure to check out the Staff Area for lots of extra content.

If you like what you see, Overactive Solutions also has a Twitter account, which will be updated daily:

You got to kiss the lovely Isabel Fay and sit on her lap. I hate you Bussell.

Believe me, things only got filthier when they yelled "cut".

That wasn't what they were yelling David!

Very good. Isabel Fay is a real talent. I really liked 'Total Paperclips of the Heart' which I just watched too.

This feels like the love child of Brass Eye and the Peter Purves video they watch in the Office, which is obviously a good thing.

Reminds me of "Look Around You", in a good way.

Good work, well done guys (and guyesses)

There are, I think, three different vids on the site. "Gotta find 'em all", like that popular cartoon used to say. I think it was the Star Trek cartoon from the 70s.

Laughing out loud

Yeah, she's great and has an impressive backlog of work to her name. Watch out for her on the telly too she's on Live at the Electric and is the face of Quorn!

*is the face of Quorn!

So she's not all good. We all have our dark sides.

Thanks, Newman. I'd forgotten all about the Peter Purves video until you mentioned it, and I did some pretty thorough research into the form. Check out some of these real life beauties:

Its very good. I wrote a selling on the telephone training tape once in which I guest acted with Jimmy Mulville.

Thanks, Tony. We originally talked about making it a period piece and shooting on VHS but abandoned the idea to keep the budget down. In the end we aped some of the more modern examples of staff training videos but stuck with the technical ineptitude we'd seen elsewhere.

This is awsome. Bussell watching your stuff is getting better than watching telly.

Which is good for you and terribly depressing for civilisation.
