Ah yes I get the sing songy bit, she's more sing songy, I grant you, but the diction and the stresses sound very similar to my untrained ear. Both very good broacasting voices, very precise and clear, and slow! Most 'Geordies' and some Scots apeak way too fast for us southern folk.
What do you sound like? Page 4
Yes I see what you mean. Similar vowel sounds is the big thing I think. I worked quite hard on my dictation and general public speaking, though I never had a thick accent. This is a little more 'stagey' than my usual speaking voice but not by much.

God knows what that was about. Sounded like a Fife accent. I can understand it but imagine it would be difficult for a non-Scot.
I sound like a cross between Philip Schofield & Chas from Chas n Dave

Did you deliberately choose Chas over Dave to vocally emulate? Poor Dave, nobody wanted to be him when we used to play Chas and Dave in the playground - I just made that up, no one played Chas and Dave as children.
Was channel hopping last night and I stumbled on a film in which Ralf Little was portraying a young Chas Hodges. He would never have had the acting chops to capture the emotional complexities of Dave.
I sound like a man - apparently. Whenever I answer the phone, people think I'm Mr. Keewik.

I look forward to his portrayal of Chris Lowe in a Pet Shop Boys biopic. The range of emotions is immense.
Deeeeep voice.

Which Movie was it?
When Chassy Met Davey?
Or The Importance of being Chas?

This must be extremely awkward whenever you order lady clothes over the phone.
