What's the name of that show again?!

Hi all,

For quite a while now, I've been trying to figure out the name of a comedy TV show I used to watch many years ago.

I believe it was an English show which aired in the Netherlands around the early 90's, and I'm afraid I can't remember much about it anymore.

What I DO remember is, that it was about a group of people (duh) who had something of an excentric and arrogance way around them. I remember one man in particular who always used to say the catch phrase: "Ciao, losers!", which he would say while making a sign with his hand.

I also remember an episode in which two actors wore "nude-costume" which apparantly made them look nude in a silly way.

Sorry for not knowing much more about it, but I'm very curious to wheter I still find it as funny, as I used to back in the old days.

Thanks in advance and friendly greets!

BM.

;) Are you sure it wasn't Finish?...

Was it a sitcom or more of a sketch show?

@Dellas
Well, the show itself was definitely in English.
And I seriously doubt it was an Australian, American or other English tongue-spoken show.

I'm betting it was from the UK and aired in the 90's on both Dutch as English telly.

@Zoo
It was more of a sitcom kinda show, but in my memory it was more improvised instead of following a true plot-line. Then again, my memory is getting a bit rusty. I do recall it revolved about the same set of characters (the arrogant man with his catch phrase), so definitely no sketches.

Thanks for the replies thusfar!

I just Googled "Ciao, losers", was it this? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098846/reviews
I've never heard of it, and it's Australian, but you never know!

:) Sounds bloody great if its like Bottom!!

You just hit the jackpot! So it was an Australian show and not English after all.

At least I was right about my memory...

Thanks again, I'm off viewing some episodes now!
And sorry for posting this here, since it's not UK related.

S'okay! Glad to have helped!

:) Such a brilliant British website!!

IIRC it was shown by Channel 4 in the UK during the '90s.
