Fencing Page 2

The phone call to a shop is one that can work well, but I didn't think it was funny. Fencing/Fencing is old hat.

Double post - sorry.

It's ok. A well trodden path - very 70s but worth developing into something that would get the attention of producers now. It could be an unusual format (e.g Peep Show being filmed with cameras on actors' heads or Fonejacker -crank calls but with daft animation - why didn't I thik of that!).

I liked it Dave. Made me laugh.

I liked it... nice and simple... funny. There are very slight overtones of the famous 'fork handles' but that's not a bad thing. Overall it's good.

I said I thought it was a bit obvious but it really doesn't compare with 4 candles because basically it's just one pun stretched out but the 2 R's one was pun after pun.

Maybe I should've sent it to Play & Rewind but a bit late now.

I enjoyed it too Dave and it made me laugh.

Thanks for the sketch, it is presented in an interesting way but I have seen the gag on Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Yes... hence my use of the word 'slight'. :)

I thought it was funny, David. I don't mind obvious humour so much... it's all about how it's delivered. The telegraphed joke can be just as good as twist/shock treatment.

I really should have put it on Play & Rewind. I've just read through my 2 entries again and they seem crap in comparison.

Yes David. It is good. Your writing is almost as good as mine. :):).
Let me have my lickle dreams. I am one bored broad at the moment.
