Anyone know anything about this? In it? Etc?

Yeah - I'm in it, but details have been very scant - wondered if anyone has any gen?
I had a reply from them last week saying that I am booked in for the 14th May and that there were more details to follow regarding your spot. From the email I'm assuming that it'll be a daytime audition type thing although I could be wrong as that would be a weird way to perform stand up.
Has anyone had any further emails regarding times etc, because as you say Jack there's not much to go on. (Cue witty remarks involving not much to go on). lol
I sent them a video and my email said I'm in the final! But yeah, nothing since despite emailing them asking for the broadest indication of timing (it could cost a hundred quid more for the train if I don't book it in advance) and phoning them yesterday. The phone call was very bizarre - put me on hold then came back and said that "they don't know what time they are doing it yet. Seems a bit odd to me."
So, how to organise a laugh up in a comedy club? As Han would say, I have a bad feeling about this.
After two emails and three phone calls I have finally had a response from Jongleurs.
The club themselves seem to know nothing about it and had to put me through to the central ticket line who then put me through to some guy called Sean who said he was just manning the phone and couldn't tell me anything about it but he'd ring me tomorrow morning. 5 minutes later I had an email confirming I now have an audition time on Monday at 11am - but if I have any questions then I should ask the guy called Sean...
I still have no idea what it entails, nor how long I have to do it. Seems quite poorly run.
Jongleurs? Is this comedy juggling? In french?
Jason, how did it go? Were there many there?
I couldn't make it in the end - not enough notice to cover childcare or get a cheap train.
Hi Jack,
Unfortunately, I was in the same scenario as you and couldn't get the time off of work with such short notice. I spoke to a couple of friends that went though 2 of which are through to the 'boot camp' stage and they told me that they were there pretty much from 10 a.m. until almost 10 p.m. Patrick Monohan and Rick Wakeman were among the judges and all acts were interviewed by Cole Parker.
They told me it was a really long but, good day so I'm gutted I missed it but, never mind there'll always be other opportunities I suppose?
All the best,
Jason.
