Sitcom Setting. Page 2

Well Badge It means your advice has been noted on paper with a sharply pointed biro and been used to wipe my arse with.

If we could all try to be civil from now on, that would be smashing.

Thanks.

I've been perfectly civil zooo.

Thanks.

Oh hang on, a zoo! You could set it in a zoo!

Then don't assume I was addressing you.

I would like help in finding a sitcom setting where it is possible to have an array of characters eg. Benidorm, Phoenix Nights.

The answer is anywhere and everywhere. The setting really isn't important.

It was your use of the word "all" that confused me.

Yes, I meant everyone on the bleeding planet.

Good idea. You could set it on a planet!

Does being this sarcastic count as civil? *getscoat*

Tell you what, we'll reanimate Mother Theresa and get her to moderate the forums, then people can be as sarcastic as they like to her and she will never be sarcastic back. ;)

I doubt even she'd last long though, to be honest.

A nunnery! You could set it in a nunnery!

I'm sure this is all a great help to David.

An Anger-Management class?

Hmm, sounds like you've barely got the germ of an idea for for a sitcom yet, David. You need to know who your main characters are first, and if you do, then tell others so they can help with a setting idea. Characters should come first, so decide who your main characters are, and why they are main characters, give them a voice and personality, then, quite honestly, the setting should become more obvious. They should usually find their own setting as they become better known to you.

Not being rude but the fact that you refer to yourself as the third person in your profile really pisses me off and makes me think you're a bit of a twat therefore your opinion means nothing to me.

Welcome to the forum.

Oh f**k off!

Ok I take it back. Very bad language!

And I'm with you OP - if the critics had talent, they'd be working instead of hanging about sneering at you for trying.

;)

:O

No worries Mr Galand. The trolls are here in force.

Get a room. Console

ON a serious note though Marion, ignore my tongue in cheek posts above , what are you working on?

Possibly not the best place to come to then to ask people to do your work for you...
