British Comedy Guide

Hey folks...

To describe my humour it's easier to just list my favourite comedians.

Jimmy Carr
David Mitchell
Sarah Millican
Sean Lock
Bill Baily
Phill Jupitus
Alexandra Armstrong

So I have a twisted sense of humour so if I offend sorry... but it's really not personal.... I like a lot of other comedians too but, they're my favourites.... when on form, everyone of the above is hilarious in their own right, but when you put a bunch of good comedians together, they tend to out wit each other in which case it puts them into gear for some really good jokes.. think about it, panel shows, would I lie to you, never mind the buzzcocks, the best episodes are where they compete for air time..

I Think I'd be ok at writing comedy, useless pulling the joke off unless it's an "in joke" my timing's crap and well the fear of screwing up makes me screw up, but I'd love to give writing comedy a try and if I was to do it, I'd have to go for a situational comedy, something along the lines of the Peep Show, Lee Mack should really give up writing his own material for not going out, every joke that comes out the mouth of that non funny woman, it may as well have been said by Lee himself.. comedians need to define their own character not just tell jokes someone else thinks is funny (ie, forced to by script) .

anyway I'm pretty opinionated when it comes to comedy so like I said don't get offended :) (don't confuse Irate with Passionate either thank you lol)

Hi, cjdelphi. Welcome.

Please make sure you're using each forum correctly (moved this to Introductions), and check your spelling! I'm not familiar with this Alexandra Armstrong... ;)
