It's nicely animated but its diffuse. I really couldn't get what the joke was meant to be.

Not sure I follow you SootyJ. The main joke I guess is Britain generally being crapper than America so our remake would suck, hence the toy planes, Swindon, useless military tactics, squadron getting wiped out.
Although I nearly did take out the Dummies joke because it was too cartoony.
Anyway, cheers for watching.
I soughta got that, but the planes were cute (they were really good) and it didn't some how feel focussed.
Perhaps its because you've set such a high standard? YAB?
Maybe lines like
"Great Scott he's climbing to the top of the Swindon Arndale Centre."
"That won't take long its only 7 stories
or
"Good grief he's got Fay Wray and she's wearing a hoody"
"Quick before they go on Jeremy Kyle and start claiming tax credits."

This was my first attempt at something more cinematic, usually my sketches are two people in a room talking. So It's got a lot of areas that were accidentally overlooked.
Someone's already pointed out a sound effect I missed (the muffled cry for help from the pilot who gets eaten). Seems so obvious now.

I like the way the main guy goes for it, acting wise. He looks quite comfortable performing.
The animation is great. I like that you're thinking big and pulling it off. Most people might be intimidated to try a scene like that, maybe?
What are you going to do next? Can I suggest Avatar: Swindora

Swindora! I like it. 'Swindawn of the Dead' was an idea, but I want to do Total Recall to cash in on the remake (hopefully get more than 650 views!) and also I fancy having a go at this effect.

I'm definitely animating a T-Rex outside the pasty shop in Swindon at some point.
I thought it was really good, the planes especially. Poor Swindon seems to be the standard for 'crap boring' place, least you didn't set it in Milton Keynes!
King Kong looked great though I though he could have done with a bit more fur.... A couple more funny lines in there (like Sootyj's jokes) and it would be superb. Well done.

Swindon wishes it was Milton Keynes! We're even building a dry Ski slope here now to try and become the MK of the South West.
