World Blind darts Championships.

Fully sighted darts player playing in World Blind Darts Championship [The WBDC] Wears dark glasses but continually scores 180.

In a 30 minute Sketch show would come on say 3 times intermittently.

" We now go back to the World Blind Darts Championships at Lakeside, London "...You know the kinda stuff

Views please.

Sorry Pete - I'm not quite with you on this one. Please elaborate.

I guess that this probably does exist does it or was it your idea for some humour?

Not sure if you'd get away with this. It would be better if you heard the sound of two darts hitting the wall. Then the commentator would be about to shout "180" but only shouts "1".

Or cut to commentator with three darts stuck in his back/head/pancreas.

Like WJFK said (I just noticed!) it needs one with three yells of 'ouch´in it and cut to impaled commentator. Blind player could also have the traditional beer gut but every swig of his pint goes mostly down his shirt. Bit cruel but that's comedy!

Not to mention a cheap joke.

Yeah, can't argue with that ... but the 'blind darts player' premise is bound to lead that way unfortunately.

Oh dear ... just noticed he's 'fully sighted' despite wearing dark glasses (exactly how you get that across I have no idea!). If he is fully sighted (thus presumably 'cheating') then you can be as mean to him as you want ... as long as the twist convincingly comes out at the end.

Nive idea but I can feed back on your writing when you er, write it!

The thing is there probably is blind darts. There's blind football and everything!

There is Top-less darts

The idea I had was , at the start of a sketch , one player in dark glasses getting helped off okie by assistant. Then fully sighted guy jumping onto podium. He has on dark glasses for effect. You see him looking over top of them momentarily to see where board is then wham 180.

Have it outdoors and it goes way off track and gets someone in the back....or did that actually happen last week....with a javelin....

You'd be better off writing the sketch and then asking for feedback.

I want to see an armless darts comp. NOW!!

They can probably throw with their feet - or their mouth.

They have no mouth & they have no feet.
