JUSTINIn the studio we have Greek Finance Minister Stavros Kostalotous to discuss the stunning proposals by Greece to reduce their national debt.
[BEAT]
JUSTINStavros, how do you propose to reduce this sizable debt?
STAVROSWe have a number of plans in place, we have struck a deal with Hasbro to produce Monopoly - Greek Edition.
JUSTINHow will that work?
STAVROSIt's simple, If you play the doggie and you land on Community Chest, you get a Greek card, if you play the Greek card, all other players have to pay off any debt that you have and give you one of their properties each.
JUSTINInteresting, any other proposals?
STAVROS Yes, we have Deal or No Deal, Greek Edition.
JUSTINWhat is different in the Greek Edition.
STAVROSInstead of the banker calling you and offering you money for a box, he calls you and offers to restructure the values in the box, so that you get the best deal possible whilst screwing over the other players.
JUSTINWhat if that doesn't work?
STAVROSWe'll do what the football clubs do. Put ourselves into administration, sack half our staff and pay off our debt at a rate of 6 cents in the Euro.
JUSTINThat's a brilliant plan if it comes off. How did you come up with it?
STAVROSLet me introduce you to our new Chancellor, Mr Craig Whyte.
