Lost Hammer Footage - NJ Reject

JUSTIN: This week the Hammer Films studio issued a public appeal for lost scenes that were cut from its movies. Luckily here at Newsjack, we've managed to locate one such missing scene from the 1974 film Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell.

F/X: THUNDER AND LIGHTNING

WOMAN: I'm scared, Doctor Frankenstein. I'm scared you've gone too far this time.

FRANKENSTEIN: Nonsense my dear. What I've created is beyond science and is by far the most brilliant creature to ever walk the Earth.

WOMAN: But don't you think it's against both science and God?

FRANKENSTEIN: (EVIL LAUGH) Maybe you should meet him to see what you really think.

F/X: THUNDER FOLLOWED BY A CREAKING DOOR

FRANKENSTEIN: I call him...Albert.

GRAMS: STEPTOE AND SON

WOMAN: Oh Doctor Frankenstein. You dirty old man.

END

I liked the idea - maybe could have revealed the monster to be someone topical?

Cheers. Thought about it but it was hard to include someone topical in a film from the 60's/70's.

Yeah, but Newsjack is a topical show, isn't it? So I would say it doesn't work.

I think you need to stick more to the brief.

Needs an opening gag. Always attempt an opening gag: they might use that, even if they don't use your sketch.
