Me too.
We're up to 69 voters now - something will be happening tomorrow which may see that increase rapidly and benefit a charity too. Could be fun
That was a pretty crap selection of songs. Why them? Are they the only records you've got?
I only voted for 5.
Quote: AJGO @ March 15 2012, 9:26 PM GMTJohn, I'm Only Dancing is the best Bowie song. Fact.
Dpn't talk rubbish. By the way which version? There were two totally different styles.
The best are Star Man, Drive in Saturday and by a mile the bestest "Heroes".

Which 5 did you vote for?
'Dpn't talk rubbish'?! Just love the song, don't agree styles differ enough for the key elements to be absent
Very good but not as good/Lovely song but a bit saccharinely nostalgic for my tastes/Excellent. I'll give you that competitor
Ha!
Chappers, the songs I picked are just a selection from those I've played over the last 24 shows I've made. I'm not saying they're the best but they represent a split in styles that I broadcast each week. It's almost been arranged to be like a regular show for that very reason.
For instance, one track I nearly added was Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin - that's better than most on that list but it would unfairly weight the show to classic rock if I dropped Cornershop for example.
My era is 80s and 90s generally speaking but I like all sorts really. I just wanted see how a vote between different styles would be reflected in the results.

Of course after calling Drive In Saturday saccharinely nostalgic that's the song I wake up singing
The music poll is now been linked to an epilepsy charity and the good news is you don't have to donate if you don't want to!
Basically I am willing to donate 10p for every poll voter up to a maximum of £25 (250 voters). However, if we get to 1000 voters I'll double it to £50.
Therefore, circulate the the following blog post link and music poll link to your friends or your Twitter feeds so as many people take part as possible. There's also a link to the charity's Just Giving page on there for those who want to donate personally.
