NJ GIna Ford

Justin - I was very excited to interview Baby Guru Gina Ford, until I discovered she was an expert on babies and not a very young guru. Anyway Gina Ford is following up her controversial book "The Contented Little Baby" with an even more controversial book that recommends women return to sex four weeks after giving birth. Gina

Gina - (Chinese accent) Thanks for having me

Justin - (Shocked) I thought you were English

Gina - (English accent) I am. Just being controversial

Justin - Aw a graduate of the Jeremy Clarkson school of controversy

Gina - Sorry I was late today. I often am. I drive on the right side of the road

Justin - Isn't that dangerous?

Gina - Dangerously controversial

Justin - Do you try to be controversial?

Gina - What's the most controversial answer to that?

Justin - I think I have my answer

Gina - Is that a "no smoking" sign?

Justin - Yeah the cuts at the BBC mean we're doubling as a storage place for dangerous gases

Gina - Like a red rag to a bull

F/X cigarette lighter striking and an explosion

END

When you wrote 'Jeremy Clarkson', why wasn't the first thing you immediately thought: 'Why not stick these two contrarians together on a talk show and have their heads implode?'. That's where I think you should have gone.

I don't really get why there's an explosion? It feels Newsjack-y in tone, so you're getting that right, but it needs a bigger ending, in my opinion.
