got my first newsrevue-Treason double with the Jordon/press sketch. Thank you Jordon for being a real life comedy character

Call me thick (and yes I know what's coming) but I'm a bit confused by the guidelines on the Treason site.

It says...

Send each item separately in WORD format.
Name of each sketch/song in the e-mail subject field with a copy pasted in the body of e-mail. This is so we can correctly file and edit your material and print efficiently.

So, does this mean that the name of the sketch/song is pasted into the body of the email or the whole sketch? If the latter, it makes a complete mess of (my) Word format.

I was presuming you'd attach the sketch in a separate Word doc, but someone told me never to presume anything once so...

I attach one sketch or one liner an email with my name and title of sketch in subject line - so if you want to send 5 sketches that would be 5 separate emails. I don't write anything in the body of the email

I used to paste a copy of the sketch in the body.

Aparently mark finds it easier to read them on his mobi that way.

So, er, either then.

I just put the title of the sketch in the subject and attach the sketch itself in a word document with the e-mail.

They've not complained so far...

Oh I've used the Sootyj technique.

I should mention I do attach a word version as well

Ah. So really I've just used my own technique now.

If it helps...

I put the name of the sketch in the subject field.

I attach the Word doc containing the sketch.

I type a brief note -- "Hi Mark an Gary, (he's the script editor) here's as sketch about blah-de-blah-de-blah." (OPTIONAL)

After the brief note, I copy and paste the text of the sketch.

Think I'll start pasting sketch into body of email too - never considered it before

Just to add my agreement with Mikey, Sootyj et al.

1. I paste the sketch in the email (with a businesslike greeting)
2. and attach the same sketch as Word document. (Sometimes I accidentally attach the wrong one but don't do that...)

Job done.

I'm sure Mark used to specifically request the paste-in-email bit in the submission blurb on his website. Might have changed now.

Don't know what happened to the January show one but as I didn't send anything in know I definitely haven't got a credit in it!
