Justin - Tesco are taking part in a new government scheme where the unemployed work for no money and get screamed at by a man with a napoleon complex for a chance of employment - a cease and desist order has been lodged by Alan Sugar not before Tesco launched their new ad campaign

Woman 1 - Once I join I'm not free to leave the scheme. Many people say this is not fair and we need (Shouting) HELP! But not (Shouting) ME!

Man 1 - Not earning money frees me from the curse of material possessions

Woman 2 - I'm free from sexism in the workplace. We all get the same salary - nothing

Man 1 - On my lunch break I'm free to update my status - employment "it's complicated"

Woman 1 - I'm free - literally

Man 2 - And with unemployment on the rise this is sustainable slave labour

F/X one high chime

Man 2 - Free at last thank God almighty their free at last

Man 2 - Every little helps (beat) us

I think the idea's there but it needs to have better execution. If you're doing an advert you probably need some sort of voiceover for continuity (and also because Lewis is very good at that sort of thing). They way you've done it above seems to be more Voxpoppy/JackAppy.

The first line has confused me terribly.

I agree I liked the idea but didn't feel I pulled it off. Basically I transcribed the actual advert and replaced the lines. How would you include a voice over?

Ah, I'm not one of life's advert watchers so probably haven't seen what you were parodying.

oh its tesco mobile saying how free phone calls are etc. They say free a lotthat's why I chose it. But not sure how many people would know that anyway - I YouTubed a lot of tesco ads and couldn't find a famous one like most brands have

That's a great line. It didn't really work for me overall, though.

thanks all. Think this shows you should write more than 3 sketches. If I did I don't think I'd have sent this. Like I say pleased with idea but not overall.
