For the lips, plain ol vaseline.

Kangaroo semen also works a treat. Angelina Jolie has a fridge filled with it.

Aw, my hands and lips are dreadful in the cold, my knuckles bleed. Was wondering about using bonjela as a salve, bit pricey but possibly very effective. And if it doesn't work I can just eat it :)

It might be easier to stop punching people or atleast wear gloves.

Or maybe use a brick in a sock?

Should I?

It's just so bloody lovely. My second favourite food, after purple calpol

AJ you might have circulation probs' might be worth a check?

Nah, I'm fine, I've always been a freezing person

I always have sore, cracked lips. Constantly slapping allsorts of lip balm and vaseline on. The best one I have found is Blistex. Numbs my lips a least, so if I happen to smile or something my eyes don't water.

Do they sell Carmex over there? I love the stuff when I'm in the desert.

Would it help if I provided you with a brick in a sock?

I knit the socks myself put a brick in them and sell them in a charity shop that supports wimmins causes.

Will you also knit my brick in a sock a hat?

A brick in a hat? That would be ridiculous.

This is the bag I crotcheyed for a stall at a gala day in June. Tell me if you think it's utterly hideous (so I can prepare for the humiliation of nobody buying it)

How much do you think we should have the cheek to ask for it?

Did you make that all by yourself?! Well done.

Don't know what sort of prices are appropriate for gala day stalls, has anyone you know done similar?

That's rather impressive, Keewik! Doesn't even look homemade to me.

I have no idea about prices, but is it big or small?

I really love that bag. My nan's friend knitted me a purple cable knit bag last Christmas <3.

Also - put the price like a pound higher than you really want to get for it. People WILL haggle. How much did the materials cost? How many hours did it take?

50p and that would be overpriced - and you've buggered up my screen!

It's approximately 14 inches/35 centimetres square.

We wondered about £5.

And, by the way, it's lined.

I think I maybe take the wrong option size-wise.

I think £7! At least! As I say, they will haggle...Laughing out loud

Ooh, is bigger than it looks.
I would say definitely more than £5.

I suppose it depends on what the gala is like. At craft fairs I've been to recently I would have expected to see a bag like that at £10-£20. But then I also went to a local school/church thing with a few craft stalls where things were a bit cheaper.
