Ric Windham: The Scottish Borders Comedy Festival

The brilliant young comedian Rick Windham turned up at the BCF last week as his alter ego Scott Thomas Diannokopolis Redmond. Starting with a brilliant routine about the garden of eden ("So its ok for biblical characters to sleep with their children but when an austrian man in his celar does it...")H ethen went on to describe his family life, career so far and many other topics with trademark observational one-liners and a constant supply of jimmy carr like rude gags- "So to keep food on the table my mum works four jobs a night... no wait she gives four jobs a night, my mistake... is what she call me" His 60 minute set had a constant supply of stories, one liners and songs sung in his usual Rick Windham style. This was part of his warm up for an Australian tour later this year, all this from a 15, yes, 15 year old boy, who surely has big things to come. Please post if you have seen him live as I'm curious if he's always as good.

I have known this boy for at least 5 years, I have seen at least one of his gigs, which he performed at our school, and I was in tears of laughter that night, that was one of the funniest comedy performances I have ever seen and the jokes we some of the best.

Why would I edit any of my things he is one of my best friends and NO HE IS NOT THE FUNNIEST IN THE WORLD because he has just started doing this, to be noticed by many and I know that he properly has been which has allowed him to go to Australia and to do a tour

Sootyj, are you referring to me or the handy chandy guy, because if youre talking (typing) to me then im sorry but I'm new to comedy reviewing, im not trying to promote the guy I just thought he was good, yeah he had problems, his train of thought kept jumping and he did an annoying thing with his hands, but I didnt need to say that on the internet and dash the guys confidence, and how can you say you don't care for him, have you ever seen him live. So yeah my post maybe wasnt great, but that doesn't mean you have to salg anyone of bout it, thank you.

sootyj u did not have to delete your comment as the comedian himself has read these comment from my profile, so he knows everything that has been said, and in the next few days he said he is making a profile and is going to thank me and shorey for putting reviews in for him as he is very thankful that people have gave up their time to put comments on this about his performances and what their opinions of him are
