hey I do stand up comedy,nothing major,just open mics etc............and ive noticed after a couple of minutes talking my voice stays in ine tone...monotone or tine deaf some might call it.......just wondering if anyone had any advice in how to change this??? if its possible that is

Get a voice over or a puppet.
Difficult to comment without having heard you talk but you mind want to consider your breathing and annunciation.
Maybe a confidence issue? If you've learnt the set by heart it's easy to just want to reel it off. Wanky as it sounds, feel what you're saying and believe it in that moment. Time the laughs and pauses to think about what's next and recollect your persona. Or make the whole thing a ridiculously deadpan persona
But if you have a monotone voice, you have one. it's like a lisp tourettes or a stutter. It is just there, to annoy everyone.

That can be the answer to many queries me thinks.

Sometimes people can 'sing' their way through speech difficulties, not actual singing but speaking in a bit of a song-like manner.
If you're low energy you should go with it, play it up, don't smile between lines etc. Definitely funny to see a monotone guy delivering sharp material.
