Not sure if the 2nd half works (may cut it just before the 2nd load of hellos instead). Oh, and will fix the video flickering.

Good God that's annoying. Haha! But yeh does the job.
There are a few glitches in display, animation looks fine.
Cheers Gavin. Will fix the glitches (think they have something to do with the planes going overhead messing with the Internet signal to YouTube).
With all the editing, I've heard myself saying "Hello" at least 500 times today so far. AAAAHHHHHH!
I'm a simple man with simple tastes, and that joke really made me chuckle. 
I don't think you need to explain it though. I'd have the 1st 8 seconds, and have the sheep just amble away. Embarrassed pause for 2 seconds and out.
Then you could do another one called The Horse Whisperer, where the same guy just whipers "hello" to a horse for 8 seconds, before it wanders off too.

Surely Horse Whisperer should have a bull horn. Shouting "HELLO!!"
Its a funny joke and I like the animation. When we cut to the close up and the guy says "well I can talk to them....",etc. That kinda explains the joke that we have already got. I would cut that bit out.
I would be curious to see how it works with the whole 30 seconds filled with the guy just saying hello. It might go from funny to annoying and then back to funny again (its hard to know for sure).
How about 15 seconds of "hello" then a 5 second shot of the animal slowly turning around (while the guy is still saying "hello") and walking into the distance with the guy then saying "goodbye" for about 10 seconds (as the sheep gets smaller) ?
Maybe end it with a Bull bashing into the guy from behind and sending him flying off into a heap in the background.
The Bull says to the sheep: "That guy is like sooo annoying"
and the sheep just says "Baaaa".
?
Would the joke really be clear to everyone without the guy saying "well I can talk to them....", etc? Maybe I'm out of touch for thinking no (if I were a viewer, I'm not sure I would get the gag without the explanation).
Was thinking about maybe adding another 5-10 to the 2nd hello-hello-hello bit.
I think it would be because of the name of the sketch. It gives all the info you need. Its not called "the man who can understand what animals say" - the title sets the joke up perfectly in my opinion.

How about doing an edit without the explanation and then posting it in this thread for others to give an opinion?
It's funny but it's also quite clunky and annoying
