They still have them in Scotland :)

Now you mention it, I haven't seen one for ages but I don't remember them being done away with.

They must have been really old by then as punk had pretty much been and gone by 80s.

Geek Not really. In the 1980s punk still existed but it had become more aggressive and Americanised You had bands like the Misfits and the Ramones and fashion became more hardcore/fetish with the Mohawk being a big trend.

Punk has never really ended, it just transforms. Look at Post-punk in the late 80s/early 90s, Grunge and the emergence of Riotgrrl bands, and some Electroclash in the 00s.

Also, I was at the time shin high and peeing my pants with no shame. Cool

Yes, I have noticed more inane crap, who cares about old teen tat? Please suggest something more cerebral in future, this is what gives us women a bad name.(not nasty) but think.

The Daily Sketch, dam good paper.

Enveloping other punters in my fag smoke! whilst they drive petrol driven fume polluting cars without a comment- Wrong!

Ludovic Kennedy interviews. 'Late night Frost'.

Bloody hell dellas. It's a fun thread. I don't think anyone is judging an entire gender over this thread. Though having heard Chip's views on Eldorado, I'm beginning to think Stott might be right about Doctor Who..

Admittedlty I am only a lurker but perhaps we need to start a

'All in one consolidated Dellas talks serious subjects threads' as you don't really seem to enjoy the other threads as you constantly seem to be telling people.

I miss all those debates I had on Nietzsche and Freud in the primary school playground.

There was loads of British punk in the 80's!

The Exploited, GBH, Discharge, Subhumans, Blitz etc etc

And in America bands like Rancid and U.S. Bombs are still making some of the best punk music ever made

Punk's Not Dead !

Cool

Saved By The Bell in the mornings. I used to love waking up to Screech and Mr Belding. In many ways my relationship with Rob H, the BCG's own Mr Belding, is an attempt to recapture that magic online.

They were real people, she just imagined they were her friends . .

Boost guarana; Mignons Morçeaux; Polio.

I miss the times when I didn't know what everybody was doing every second of the bleedin day. However I solved this by avoiding the use of Facebook.

Another way to stop making women look bad here is by not coming onto threads unprovoked and being a knob. You whine about being ignored and the fact some of us DARE to know each other off site (This place has been here a damn long time, people have too), then you start jumping up and down and being a cock and suddenly wonder why people ignore you. You are not making any friends this way.

If me and Zooo wish to discuss magazines on a part of the forum designed to talk about anything, then we will, okay? Having a go at me, fine. Having at go at the other women including Zooo who happens to be a mod and Aaron's Girlfriend, how stupid can you be?

Sorry everyone else for saying this but I've personally had enough.
